Back To School!

Doesn’t it seem like summer just started?  Yet here we are making back to School preparations already.  This is such an exciting time of year for both parents and kids, it is also very stressful.  Hopefully this post will help ease stresses for both parents and children.  Below are some tips to maintain your wellness well into the school year and beyond. 

 

Eating a Healthy well-balanced diet is a key point to achieving optimal health.  We all like to indulge now and again which is fine and a lot of fun however, the majority of our meals should mostly be made up of healthy, whole, unprocessed foods, Veggies, Fruits, Healthy Proteins, Lean Meats, etc…. There are many benefits to a healthy well-balanced diet.  A few of them being more energy, better sleep patterns, and a healthy waistline.

 

 

 

 

Daily Physical Activity promotes academic performance in youth as well as helps to aid in the prevention of diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.  Physical Activity also helps combat depression, anxiety, sleep disorders & leaves us feeling healthy and happy!

 

 

 

 

Sleep is the bodies time to heal and recover from the daily stresses of life.  If we don’t get enough sleep our bodies and brain can suffer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Regular Chiropractic adjustments have a helpful part in keep your nervous system functioning well.   When the nervous system is functioning top notch so is the rest of your body.  Give us a call !!

 

 

 

 

 

MAKE SURE YOU PRACTICE BACKPACK SAFETY!!!

 

Make sure your backpack is the proper size, has padded shoulder straps, is adjustable, and has a padded back and compartments.  Always try to carry less then 10% of your body weight.
